More than 10 years of Sustainability achievements:

2000 – Built Australia’s first solar suburb at Newington for the Olympic Village in a joint venture and built the first office tower in Australia to commit to 4 Star Australian Building Greenhouse Rating at 40 Miller Street in North Sydney, New South Wales.

2006 – Listed on the FTSE4Good Index and launched the Mirvac School of Sustainable Development at Bond University, Queensland.

2007 – Opened the first 6 Star Green Star shopping centre, Orion, Springfield, Queensland and won Green Apple Award for Environmental best practice Australia and New Zealand.

2008 – Completed the ambitious upgrade of 101 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW, a flagship premium grade office building, the first existing office tower to deploy trigeneration. Also opened the first 6 Star Green Star education facility with the Mirvac School of Sustainable Development at Bond University.

2009 – Built Harmony 9 at Waverley Park, Victoria, the first 9.2 star zero carbon home by an Australian commercial developer.

2011 – Achieved top ranking in the Real Estate Sector for the FTSE4Good environmental, social and governance ratings and highest ranked real estate company in the Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index and Performance Index.

2012 – Became a Major Climate Partner with The Climate Institute and achieved a 6 Star Green Star Office design rating at 8 Chifley Square, Sydney, New South Wales.
