Broadway, The Iconic and ParcelPoint team up to offer revolutionary new retail service

Missed deliveries and lengthy returns processes will soon be a thing of the past for Sydney shoppers, with Broadway Shopping Centre, The Iconic and ParcelPoint today announcing the launch of The Collection Bar at Broadway. Set to open on Thursday 5th June, The Collection Bar gives customers the chance to have online purchases delivered to a dedicated collection point within the Centre, try them on in exclusive changing rooms and return on the spot - a service not currently being offered at any other shopping centre across Australia. 

A first for the retail industry, The Collection Bar will revolutionise the relationship between online and ‘traditional’ retailers via this unique partnership. 

As the number one Shopping Centre in Australia*, the launch places Broadway at the heart of online and offline shopping, positioning the Centre as a unique destination focused on today’s modern shopper. According to ParcelPoint research

  • Two-thirds of online shoppers regularly miss a delivery
  • 64% are frustrated by courier calling cards
  • 60% have problems receiving personal online deliveries at work
  • 53% don't want parcels left on their doorstep

The Collection Bar offers a solution to these problems using ParcelPoint’s leading Click & Collect and Easy Returns technology to provide a more convenient way to receive and return parcels at a time that suits the individual.  

The new service includes changing rooms so shoppers can try items on and return on the spot if unsuitable – making The Iconic’s three-hour delivery service even more attractive. Shoppers can also use The Collection Bar to return online purchases from participating retailers.

The Collection Bar is located next to the Customer Service desk on level 1. It will be open from 8am to 8pm every day and 8am to 9pm on Thursdays.
