Cadetship

Applications for Mirvac’s 2025 Cadetship program are now closed.

The Mirvac Construction Cadetship is a part-time program designed to assist you in building your career in the Property & Construction Industry through our Mirvac Construction business.

The program allows students from their second year of study until Graduation to apply their university knowledge to various building construction projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use, retail), job activities and real-world scenarios.

Mirvac Construction’s available Cadet positions for 2025 include:

  • Site Cadet (Onsite)
  • Commercial Cadet (Onsite)
  • Health Safety and Environment Cadet (Onsite)

These opportunities are paid, 11-month fixed term contract roles (including annual leave, personal leave and public holidays paid), commencing in February 2025, with the potential to be made permanent.

All Cadets in their final year of study, will be eligible to participate in the learning programs and activities available as part of the Mirvac Internship Program.

About you

To be eligible for our Cadet roles you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

To make the most of your cadetship and obtain maximum exposure to how a construction project is delivered, we require Cadets to commit to working a minimum of 4 days per week and we will provide flexibility around your study requirements aligned to this.

You will be a student (minimum second-year) from the following disciplines (but not limited to):

  • Construction Management or Project Management (Construction)
  • Engineering (Structural, Civil)
  • Contract Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Project Management (Construction), Construction Economics, Contracts Law, Business, Commerce
  • Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability

Application Process

Applications will be reviewed across August and September. If your application is progressed, you will be asked to complete a video interview and will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre in October.
