Cadetship

Applications for the 2025 Cadetship program will open in July/August 2024

 

Mirvac Construction’s Cadet program is designed to assist you in building your career in the Property & Construction Industry through our Mirvac Construction business. The program allows students from their second year of study until Graduation to apply their university knowledge to various building construction projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use, retail), job activities and real-world scenarios.

 

At Mirvac you will be supported by management, a ‘buddy’ and mentors, as well as included in a range of networking opportunities with business stakeholders and leaders. 

 

Mirvac Construction’s available Cadet positions for 2025 include:

  • Site Cadet (NSW & VIC) 
  • Project Design Management Cadet (NSW)
  • Cost Planning Cadet (NSW)
  • Health Safety and Environment Management Cadet (NSW & VIC)
  • Commercial Cadet (NSW & VIC)
  • Pre-Construction Cadet (VIC)

These opportunities are 12-month fixed term contract roles, commencing in February 2025, with the potential to be made permanent.

 

All Cadets in their final year of study, will be eligible to participate in the learning programs and activities available as part of the Mirvac Internship Program.

 

About you

 

To be eligible for our Cadet roles you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

 

To make the most of your cadetship and obtain maximum exposure to how a construction project is delivered, we require Cadets to commit to working a minimum of 4 days per week and we will provide flexibility around your study requirements aligned to this.

 

You will be a student (minimum second year) from the following disciplines (but not limited to):

  • Construction or Project Management
  • Engineering (Structural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental)
  • Architecture / Design
  • Property Economics / Urban Development
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Digital Engineering
  • Construction Economics
  • Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability
