Bob Pusanik, Executive Property Strategic Sourcing at National Australia Bank, said that NAB is pleased to extend its commitment to 700 Bourke Street and looks forward to the next chapter in partnership with Mirvac.

“Extending our lease at 700 Bourke Street to 2038 is a great outcome for our colleagues, customers, and the business. With Mirvac’s support, we’ll progressively refresh our workplace and amenities to ensure a contemporary, sustainable environment, while reaffirming NAB’s long-term presence in Docklands,” said Mr Pusanik.

Mirvac’s Fund Manager – MWOF, Kit Georgeos, said that Mirvac is thrilled that NAB has re-signed the lease at 700 Bourke Street, a building NAB has called home since its completion in 2013 and which MWOF has proudly owned since that time.

“This renewal is a strong endorsement of both the Southern Cross precinct and the quality of our office portfolio. It also represents one of the most significant leasing transactions in the Australian market this year, reinforcing the confidence major occupiers have in our assets and the strength of our relationships,” said Ms Georgeos.

“Importantly, this agreement provides long-term income security and supports strong, sustainable returns for our investors. As part of this agreement, we will deliver a comprehensive refurbishment to ensure 700 Bourke Street remains a modern, sustainable, and technology-rich workplace that supports NAB’s people and future growth.

“Our commitment to reinvest in our assets reflects Mirvac’s broader strategy to create and curate Premium-grade office environments that meet the evolving needs of leading businesses."
