First Terrace Homes Launched at Ashford Residences, Everton Park

29th December 2020

Mirvac has released the first collection of terrace homes at its $81 million Ashford Residences community at Everton Park.

In total, 50 per cent of the first 24 architecturally-designed three and four bedroom terrace homes have already been sold ahead of the official launch. These terrace homes range from a generous 164sqm to 218sqm, have been snapped up by a waiting-list of buyers.

The two-storey homes, priced from $630,000, are designed to suit modern family lifestyles, featuring flexible and considered floor plans with premium finishes, an entertainers' kitchen, large bedrooms, generous courtyards and a double lock-up garage.

Buyers have the opportunity to choose from a large selection of curated design palettes, with a bespoke digital 'finishes selector' available to help customise - and visualise - their interior colours and finishes to suit their individual style.
Terrace home residents will enjoy exclusive access to resort-style facilities in the Ashford Club, which features a pool with splash area for children, a gym, lounge chairs for relaxation, a teppanyaki grill, fire pit, barbecue and large turfed area to entertain family and friends, overlooking a beautiful eco area.

The anticipated first release of terrace homes comes on the back of the final release of homesites at Ashford Residences, with just a limited number of the 43 land lots now remaining following $12 million in sales.

The final homesites, priced from $489,000, range from 405sqm to 555sqm and include a selection of lots with leafy outlooks overlooking the eco area and the Kedron Brook cycleway.

Mirvac Head of Residential Stuart Penklis said Ashford Residences’ sought-after position alongside Kedron Brook and just seven kilometres from the Brisbane CBD was a significant drawcard for buyers of both terrace homes and homesites.

“The opportunity to live in a brand-new terrace or home in this location is rare,” he said.

"We received significant interest in the terrace homes even before they were launched and to release them to the market with 50 per cent already under contract is indicative of the strong underlying demand that exists for this style of living in this superb position.

"The terrace homes sold to a mix of buyers, including first home purchasers, young families and downsizers, many of who lived in the local area and wanted to upgrade to a brand new home alongside the green space of Kedron Brook, with access to the fantastic amenities in the Ashford Club.

"The peaceful and private enclave is also close to public transport, schools, shops and lifestyle amenities, including both Woolworths and Coles supermarkets, health and beauty facilities and a new dining laneway featuring some of the city's most popular restaurants and cafes in the newly renovated Everton Plaza."
Mr Penklis said purchasers were also potentially able to benefit from Government schemes, including the $25,000 HomeBuilder Grant, and first time buyers the additional $15,000 First Home Owner Grant.

Mirvac's Right Start initiative, which allows first home buyers to purchase with just a five per cent deposit, is also available to eligible buyers.

"These incentives are helping purchasers to secure, or fast-track their way to, a brand new home designed for the modern lifestyle," he said.

Mr Penklis said every detail had been considered in the design of the new terrace homes.

"Each maximises privacy while drawing natural light, with generous and flexible floor plans including study nooks and multi-purpose rooms for those working from home, a master bedroom that functions as a private retreat and courtyards to relax and entertain," he said.

"We also understand buyers are looking for more choice when it comes to colours and finishes, so have released a range of options that they can mix and match to suit their own style, with our one-of-a-kind digital 'finishes selector' helping them visualise how they will come together in their new home. The feedback we've had about this new design tool has been extremely positive."

On completion, Ashford Residences will feature 124 residences, including 43 freestanding homes, 80 three and four bedroom terrace homes and the recently restored heritage Queenslander, 'Murphy's Dairy Residence'.

The community also boasts a one-hectare eco area neighbouring the Kedron Brook, designed with lush planting and landscaping to enhance the ecological health of the area.
